Apothika’s Favorite Charities

‘Tis the season for giving! But we all know that giving to those less fortunate feels good all year long. At Apothika, we like what these three organizations do on a daily basis to make living better for people in the metro Atlanta area, so we offer some brief information about each for your consideration.

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is on a mission to end hunger in Atlanta. They need our help to make it happen. With every dollar we donate, they can provide enough food for up to 4 meals.

The Furniture Bank’s mission is to create stability for families and individuals in need by distributing donated furniture to turn their houses into homes.

It's been great for many of our clients who are selling their homes and want to get rid of furniture items. We just give our friends at Furniture Bank a call, and they promptly send their truck out. They are the ONLY place that will take and recycle mattresses!

They will also accept monetary donations and you can even volunteer your time- as we have done on several occasions!- to go in and build dining tables.
